Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Videographer & Editor at Edusprint Productions located in Bengaluru. As a Videographer & Editor, you will be responsible for video production, camera operation, lighting, shooting video, and working with cameras. You will use your skills to create engaging and high-quality video content for our courses.

Job Description

Set Up Studio:

• Prepare the studio space for recording sessions.
• Ensure lighting, backdrops, and props are arranged appropriately.
• Test audio and video equipment for optimal performance.

Record Educational Videos:

• Capture footage for educational videos according to the day's script and schedule.
• Focus on delivering clear and concise content while maintaining engagement.

Review Footage:

• Review recorded footage to ensure technical quality and content accuracy.
• Take note of any reshoots or additional shots needed.

Edit Educational Videos:

• Edit recorded footage into cohesive educational videos, incorporating graphics and animations as necessary.
• Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.

Organize Files:

• Properly label and organize recorded footage and project files.
• Backup files to prevent data loss and ensure accessibility.

Edit Short Instagram Clips:

• Create bite-sized clips from recorded sessions tailored for Instagram's audience.
• Edit and optimize clips for mobile viewing, ensuring they highlight key points effectively.

Create YouTube Content:

• Produce longer-form content suitable for YouTube, such as tutorials or in-depth discussions.
• Enhance videos with engaging intros and outros to captivate viewers.

Content Planning:

• Develop a content calendar outlining upcoming studio recording sessions and video topics.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align on messaging and promotional strategies.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance on studio equipment, including cameras, lighting fixtures, and audio gear.
• Schedule professional inspections or repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of video production principles, techniques, and equipment.
• Proficient knowledge in editing videos in Adobe Premiere pro
• Experience and knowledge in using camera operation and lighting equipment.
• Proficient knowledge of shooting videos, utilizing camera movement and direction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of different types of cameras, including DSLR and mirrorless cameras.
• Understanding of media production and post-production workflows.
• Experience working in a corporate or business environment is a plus.
