Role Title: Associate Consultant – SAP S/4 Hana Functional Location: Chennai We are one purpose-led global organisation. The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, improved financial management, common data and real time reporting, redefining the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient. The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come. The Axial programme needs the best talent to work in it. The Associate consultant will provide support to the Architects and Business Stakeholders in delivering Changes and Bug fixes. Their responsibility will include the documentation, support and project delivery to the capabilities within their area. They will be supporting the solution delivery (high level design, linked to the business requirements, configuration of the system and any functional design definitions). What you’ll do Project delivery - You will use their knowledge and experience to ensure the best solution is delivered to meet AZ requirements while using S/4 Fit to Standard functionality. Solution documentation –You will be responsible for the appropriate documentation of solution. This will mean there is a clearly detailed understanding of the solution, its dependencies and links to other processes, allowing future changes to be accurately assessed and implemented with no/minimal impact to the operational business. Stakeholder Analysis & Change - Works and collaborates with other areas of Axial. Actively build and manage relationships according to individual stakeholder needs and levels of influence. Support improvement – provide input to improvements of not just the technical solution but also the approach and ways of working in supporting the business capabilities. Business Needs Identification - Operates at a functional level in assessing and defining business need and areas for improvement. Actively monitors and identifies capability gaps and proposes potential solutions. Essential for the role Overall 3+ years of experience with at least 1 year of relevant SAP experience. Good knowledge on integration aspects and configuration dependencies within SAP. Good knowledge in business domain related to SAP capability. Good communication and presentation skills, a keen eye for detail. Able to work across the teams and communicate in business and IT terms Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing an agile and open mindset Self-motivated, proven personal credibility and positive energy Able to think out of the box, thrive in ambiguous and stressful situations Ability to work independently as well as part of a Team Desirable Skills SAP Certified in SAP S/4HANA. Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate from reputed University Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources in multiple geographical locations Understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and of competitor activity, on a particular architecture and Information Management Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working Why AstraZeneca?
