FX Artist

We are seeking a skilled
FX Artist
to design and implement high-quality visual effects for our gaming projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating dynamic, real-time effects that enhance gameplay and storytelling, while ensuring technical efficiency and artistic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement real-time visual effects (explosions, fire, weather, magic, environmental FX) using Unity and Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to integrate effects seamlessly into gameplay.
• Develop particle systems, shaders, and simulations for natural and fantasy effects.
• Optimize VFX for performance across platforms without compromising quality.
• Research and apply new tools, techniques, and technologies in VFX.
• Maintain consistency with the artistic vision and technical standards of the project.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Certification course in Animation, Game Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of experience as an FX/VFX Artist in gaming, film, or animation.
• Proficiency with Unity and Unreal Engine VFX systems.
• Strong knowledge of tools such as Houdini, Maya and Blender is a Bonus
• Understanding of particle systems, Cascade system, simulations, shaders, and real-time rendering.
• Strong artistic sense with attention to timing, detail, and visual impact.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AAA or mobile game production.
• Knowledge of performance optimization for VFX is must.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, C#, etc.) for FX tool development is a Plus.
