Languages JavaScript/TypeScript or Python (both = bonus) Frontend React + Next.js (App Router), Tailwind/shadcn, Monaco Editor Backend  Node.js (Express/Fastify) or FastAPI; REST + WebSockets Key Responsibilities Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications and APIs integrated with front-end and third-party systems. API Development: Build and maintain RESTful and microservice APIs that support internal and external integrations. Data Management: Implement and manage data storage solutions, including relational and non-relational databases, ensuring efficiency and data integrity. Optimization: Ensure optimal system speed, scalability, and reliability through performance tuning and code refactoring. Security: Implement security best practices, ensuring protection of user data, secure APIs, and compliance with privacy standards (e.g., GDPR). Testing and Debugging: Write and execute unit and integration tests (e.g., JUnit, Mocha). Debug, identify, and fix performance bottlenecks. Continuous Improvement: Monitor emerging technologies, frameworks, and backend trends to continuously enhance performance and architecture. Production Readiness: Ensure all deliverables meet production standards, including security, scalability, documentation, and deployment readiness. Core Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 2 – 5 years of proven backend development experience in production environments. Languages & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and/or Node.js; familiarity with Go. Databases: Expertise with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis). API & Architecture: Deep understanding of microservices architecture and API-first design principles. Cloud & DevOps: Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Security & Authentication: Proficiency in API security protocols (OAuth, JWT) and general web application security practices. Version Control: Strong understanding of Git workflows including versioning, branching, and merging. Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience writing automated tests using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or Mocha. Performance Optimization: Knowledge of caching (Redis, Memcached), load balancing, and horizontal scaling techniques. Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS for asynchronous communication. Familiarity with Serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). Note: This position requires working onsite from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM . Candidates must confirm availability for these working hours.
