Job Description: Technology Operations Lead
Position Overview
The Team Lead – Technology Operations and Enhancements will play a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence of FFE's technologically intensive systems. This position is essential to ensure seamless execution of strategic projects, ongoing system enhancements, and the sustainable scaling of FFE's operations. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Salesforce with a strong understanding of functional requirements to bridge gaps between teams, optimize workflows, and deliver impactful results. The role also involves fostering team capacity through structured upskilling and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
System Operations and Maintenance:
Oversee and ensure the smooth functioning of Salesforce and other integrated systems on a daily basis.
Proactively monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement timely resolutions.
Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for system updates, troubleshooting, and technical support.
Project Execution:
Lead the operational aspects of high-impact, technically intensive projects.
Collaborate with FFE leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams to translate strategic goals into actionable project plans.
Manage project timelines, quality standards, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
System Enhancements:
Continuously assess existing systems to identify areas for optimization and enhancement.
Lead end-to-end processes for the development, testing, and deployment of new features and functionalities.
Stay informed about advancements in Salesforce and other relevant technologies, recommending upgrades or changes as needed.
Team Coordination and Upskilling:
Organize and facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the internal team's expertise in Salesforce and other operational tools.
Provide training on new system features, workflows, and operational processes to ensure team readiness.
Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and adaptability within the technology team.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as a critical liaison between technical and functional teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Communicate technical updates, system insights, and progress reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Strategic Planning and Scalability:
Contribute to strategic discussions by offering insights on technical scalability and system capabilities.
Ensure that operational systems align with FFE's long-term goals and support the growing scale of programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration, project execution, or equivalent technical leadership roles.
Functional knowledge of education-focused or non-profit operations is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable, practical solutions.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
