Job Title: Electrical Engineer (PDU)

Location: Bangalore or Coimbatore

Responsibilities

- Work with multidisciplinary engineering design teams to design and modify custom and OEM system components.- Find/recommend alternatives for obsolete components.- Perform lifecycle assessment of OEM components and report out.- Assist in the development of electrical product specifications.- Troubleshoot and problem-solve complex systems.- Design Tool Installation packages. Packages include Schematics, Facility Data information, General Routing, and Details.- Prepare engineering specification documents and test specs, coordinating with other BU engineering departments, software teams, and manufacturing teams.- Create and release engineering drawings & bills of materials using engineering change management processes.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems, identifying sources of issues in critical parts and subsystems.

Requirements & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field- 5-7 years of relevant experience- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks-Electrical, or similar software is a plus.- Previous knowledge of PLM- Solid understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems.- Previous knowledge of UL-listed components.- Proficient in the use of SolidWorks PDM preferred.- Willingness to take on new challenges.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor others.- Regarded as a technical expert in their field.
