Role Description :

This is a full-time remote role for a Unity Developer.

The Unity Developer will be responsible for mobile game development, augmented reality (AR) projects, level design, and object-oriented programming (OOP).

The Unity Developer will work on creating and programming games and interactive experiences using the Unity platform.

Responsibilities :

- Optimize 3D models, textures, and shaders for performance without compromising visual quality.

- Development of custom shaders using Shader Graph or HLSL.

- Provide technical support and training to artists on best practices for asset creation and optimization.

- Collaborate with artists and programmers to design and implement efficient art asset pipelines.

- Develop and maintain tools and scripts to streamline asset creation and integration processes.

- Ensure art assets are correctly imported and configured in Unity, maintaining consistency and quality.

- Work with the development team to identify and solve technical challenges related to art and animation.

- Create and implement visual effects (VFX) using Unity's particle systems and shader tools.

- Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve visual and performance issues.

- Stay updated on the latest Unity features and industry trends, and integrate them into the development process.

Qualifications : .

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, Digital Art, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Artist or similar role in the game industry.

- Experience with Built-In and Universal Render Pipeline (URP) in Unity is must.

- Experience with shader development (Shader Graph or HLSL) is must.

- Proficiency with industry-standard art tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Photoshop, and Substance Painter/Designer.

- Solid scripting skills (C#,HLSL, Python, or MEL) for tool development and Shaders.

- Proficiency in Unity, including experience with Unity's rendering pipeline, lighting, and optimization techniques.

- Strong understanding of 3D art production, including modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.

- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality, performant art assets.

- Experience with VR/AR development.

Preferred Skills : .

- Knowledge of other game engines (Unreal Engine) is a plus.

- Familiarity with procedural content generation techniques.

- Understanding of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) principles and practices.
