Infra Tech Lead Analyst

Shared Technology Platform Services team is responsible for all middleware technology infrastructure administrative activities for a variety of middleware technologies. We also provide development support for hundreds of applications. This particular role is created for **Automation Lead for Services Middleware infrastructure support which includes Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic and Oracle HTTP Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server(primary technology) and L3 Production support and self service automation infrastructure support** . Our primary function is to provide Infrastructure technology Support and implement technology automations and self-service solutions that will help application teams avoid production outages and build stable production systems. We are also assisting several applications with their cloud transition. Our services include below.

SME support along with advanced troubleshooting
Design and Capacity Analysis.
Initiatives that improve productivity and results in efficiencies
POCs and adoption of new products
Interact with SA, dba, developers and product and send requests to Architecture
**Role Description:**
WebTech L3 Automations lead (Individual contributor)who will be responsible to build Strong Self-service Automation solutions for infrastructure Support teams and Application PS teams and also develop self-service capabilities for addressing issues, requests and technical roadblocks in minimal turnaround time. This role will also enable automation mindset for team to increase over all teams productivity and efficiently
End to end understanding of Weblogic,IIS,Tomcat,OHS,IBM HTTP Servers and WebSphere Application Server L3 Infrastructure and Architecture.
Design and Develop self-service automation tools to standardize and automate infrastructure configurations, monitoring, application infra support activities.
Technology experience on tool like Bitbucket, python scripting, CICD automation, code repository check-ins and version control .
Technical support to applications on trouble shooting Environment, software and application level issues for WebSphere,weblogic,tomcat and IBM HTTP Server .
Write smart programs using Unix Shell/python/ansible for reduction of manual touch points
Partner with cross functional teams across Technology, Validation/QC, Production.
Triaging/driving MIM calls and L3 production support for WebSphere infra structure .
Building WebSphere/Tomcat/Weblogic/IIS environments, patching,VA fixes, driving production changes .
Providing design inputs ,capacity analysis and architectural solution for WebSphere Application environment setups.
Support Global teams across all of ICG supporting cutting edge solutions.
Expertise in ITRS monitoring including dashboard setup and command setup with authorization setup through service now groups
Expertise in automation with autosys ,udeploy, python .Exposure to tomcat/containerization would be an value add.
Managing support services and change management using Servicenow SAAS application.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent educational qualification
Technical / Functional Proficiency:
Strong Automations knowledge on middleware tools
Knowledge/Experience:
15-18+ years of intensive expertise in middleware products. Deep architectural, infrastructure and troubleshooting knowledge on middleware products like : IBM Websphere Application Servers , IBM HTTP Servers , Oracle HTTP Servers and WebLogic , Apache Tomcat, IIS.
Hands-on on experience on WeSphere wsadmin scripting for Websphere application Servers.
Ability to write automations for WebLogic and Oracle HTTP Server middleware product.
Scripting expertise to self-write automation script for Tomcat and and Apache.
Proficient and strong knowledge on linux/unix shell and jython, python, ansible scripting.
Expertise on converting business needs and requirements into automations solutions.
Design, Development and Integration of automation scripts into dashboards for self service automation feature for stakeholders and Application production support team.
Expertise on jython/Jacl/python development scripting for middleware automations .Development experience on tool like Bitbucket , python scripting , CICD automation , code repository checkins and version control . Ability to build and develop CICD pipelines for middleware infrastructure configurations and deployment.
Demonstrations of strong technical leadership to drive, track and deliver critical projects. Proven history of driving automations projects and delivering on time in line with organizations expectations.
Experience troubleshooting WAS and IBM HTTP server related issues.
Strong ability to work in a highly focused technical environment together with other motivated and driven professionals, as well as the ability to work independently.
Technical Team management and strong mentorship .
Must have experience in participating in the management of multiple concurrent initiatives while relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Design and build automation tools for selfservice usages by teams and stakeholders.
Windows power shell scripting and knowledge on latest DevOps tools is added advantage.
