About the role The Manager, Compliance and Quality plays a pivotal role in ensuring the deliverables from Cbus’ Risk Management uplift program are well designed, implemented effectively and embedded sustainably. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Delivery Enablement and Quality, this position involves close collaboration with program leaders, risk and compliance teams and delivery partners to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. This role is critical because it safeguards the integrity and success of the risk transformation program, ensuring that initiatives meet business requirements and deliver long-term value. By acting as a trusted advisor, escalating issues when necessary and developing robust closure methodologies, you will help mitigate risks and support organisational resilience. Key Accountabilities Build strong relationships and collaborate with senior leaders and project teams to ensure program alignment across the transformation program Act as a trusted advisor on the quality of deliverables, providing guidance and thought leadership across initiatives Provide feedback and assurance on execution plans, program outcomes, and delivery activities to drive successful results Execute and assist in evolving the initiative closure methodology to ensure that program deliverables are effectively designed, implemented and embedded Share best practice and foster collaboration across workstreams to drive continuous improvement What will you bring? Experience in a similar Risk Assurance, Risk Management or Risk Transformation Delivery role ideally in Superannuation or Financial Services Strong analytical mindset with the ability to review, challenge existing approaches and identify gaps Experience in assessing deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements Exceptional organisation and communication skills with the ability to multi-task, work autonomously across multiple workstreams and lead initiatives Proven assurance background with expertise in risk assessment and providing assurance over risk transformation and project delivery Tertiary qualifications in a related field highly regarded Belong at Cbus We value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities and thinking styles.
