Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test Planning and Strategy- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify defects, bugs, and other issues in software applications. Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to validate system functionality and performance.- Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, such as Jira or Bugzilla. Work closely with development teams to prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a timely manner. Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of defects and implement preventive measures.- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability in software development and testing activities. Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.- Someone who has worked in product based company is preferred

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance/testing roles, with a focus on manual and automated testing methodologies.- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, including Agile/Scrum practices.- Experience or knowledge of testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.- Solid understanding of web technologies, databases, APIs, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.- Good to have knowledge of Playwright- Willing to learn new technologies and work independently
