PHP Developer (Full Stack CodeIgniter + MySQL/PostgreSQL)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer who has hands-on experience in CodeIgniter, Core PHP, and relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded Full Stack Developer capable of building, maintaining, and optimizing both front-end and back-end components of web applications.

You will play a critical role in developing high-performance systems and contribute to ongoing improvement of code quality, architecture, and technical workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable applications using CodeIgniter and Core PHP
  • Write efficient SQL queries and work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
  • Design responsive UIs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and AJAX
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end feature development (UI, backend logic, and data integration)
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack – from UI to database
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in PHP (Core PHP + CodeIgniter Framework)
  • Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap
  • Experience working on both Front-End and Back-End components
  • Ability to independently handle UI design and data logic
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs

Nice to Have (Bonus Points)

  • Exposure to , , or any JavaScript framework
  • Familiarity with version control (Git)
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or containerized deployment (Docker)
