Some of the activities includes:a.Coordinating and organizing PTRC meetings and discussions.records and timeline management.c.Relationship management with external vendorsd.Keeping a track of ideas and IPRteam and guide them in day to day activitiesb)This role imparts coordination with IPR coordinators, IP managers, and external vendors across TML including CV, PV, EV, TMETC etc. If this role does not exist, there may be challenges in procuring, handling and managing IPR across the organization.Dimensions of the positionFinancial: 15 CroresNon-financial: Total reportees under this position: 3 - 5 employees.Personal ProfileEducation Graduation in Engineering, Registered Patent Agent, LLB(Optional)Competencies1. Patent Search and analytics, Patent Drafting, Patent Prosecution.2. International Patent law.3. Team Management.4. Knowledge about Design & Copyright law.5. Landscape, Competition watch, Infringement analysis, Freedom to Operate (FTO)6. Basic knowledge of TRIZ or related Innovation tools/techniques/Knowledge

Work Experience

Relevant Experience :1. 12+ years’ experience in handing intellectual Property Right (IPR) related matters, particularly Patents.2. In depth knowledge of IPR laws.3. Experience of Automotive domain and /or Engineering/Technology Service organizations.4. Experience of working in Law firms as well as in-house IP professional.5. Ability to manage team and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Key Responsibility & Key Tasks Measures1IPR portfolio management:•IPR filings including Patents•Special focus on software and process patents•As per BSE•90% of the ideas should be closed or converted into IPR within 60 days2Docket management -•Managing timelines•Hearings•Records•FER responses•Annuities•Form 27•Record management on Iolite and other platforms•100% Timeline adherence.3Team Management -•Handholding team and provide guidance and training on IPR processes and law.•Guide team on idea discussion and IPR identification.•Record coordination and management.•Work distribution•25 % increase in productivity.
