As a Golang developer at Torry Harris, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure software applications using Golang. You will also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across different industries, such as telecommunications, finance, and healthcare.
Job responsibilities:
- Designing and developing high-quality software solutions using Golang
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Troubleshooting and debugging software applications
- Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
- Working on performance optimization and scalability of software applications
- Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Golang development
- 8-12 years of proven work experience as a Software Developer
- 1+ years of experience working on a cloud application (AWS, Azure or any cloud)
- Minimum 2 years of Experience in GoLang is a must.
-Knowledge of version control systems like GIT (mandatory).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Golang developer
- Strong knowledge of Golang programming language and its ecosystem
- Experience with building and maintaining scalable and high-performance software applications
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
- Experience with containerization and microservices architecture is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
