TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and Coopers Stadium, in addition to functions and events at The Drive. The Role As a Technology Operations Supervisor,  you will lead a skilled team, manage state-of-the-art AV equipment, and play a key role in bringing events to life. With each day presenting new challenges and opportunities, this position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and exciting environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead & Inspire : Supervise and coach AV services staff, ensuring seamless task allocation and execution. Event Preparation : Cross-check event orders, crew rosters, and venue setups, resolving requests promptly. Excellence in Delivery : Provide high-quality, consistent technical AV services across all applications. Maintain Standards : Monitor and maintain AV production quality throughout the venue. Customer Focus : Deliver exceptional service and continuously seek improvements. Availability: Have good 24/7 availability to ensure full team cohesion. Innovate : Collaborate with the leadership team to develop innovative AV solutions. Skills you will bring to the role: Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams. At least 5 years of experience in Audio, Lighting, or Vision. Ability to work independently while guiding others effectively. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
