Job Description - SolarWinds Engineer - Willing to travel Sharjah · Bachelor degree with 4+ years of experience in SolarWinds administration and network monitoring. · The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the SolarWinds Orion Platform and its core modules, along with a strong background in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. · Responsible for managing the health of enterprise monitoring systems, creating custom dashboards and alerts, supporting SolarWinds upgrades, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and visibility. · Hands-on experience with the Orion Platform and key modules (NPM, NCM, NTA, SAM, etc.). · Strong understanding of SNMP, Syslog, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. · Proficiency with Windows Server environments and basic Linux knowledge. · Experience in troubleshooting tools: Wireshark, SNMP Walk. · Familiarity with VMware and cloud monitoring (AWS/Azure) is a plus. · Knowledge of SWQL and MIB/OID for custom polling. · Preferably related SolarWinds Certified Professional (NPM or Architect) · Azure Admin or cloud monitoring-related certification is a plus · Deploy, configure, and maintain the SolarWinds Orion Platform (NPM, NCM, NTA, IPAM, VMAN, WPM, SAM). · Plan and perform SolarWinds upgrades, patches, and module installations. · Design custom dashboards, alerts, and reports using SWQL and MIB/OID-based pollers. · Monitor application, network, and infrastructure health, and respond to alerts. · Troubleshoot issues using tools like Wireshark, SNMP Walk, and system logs. · Coordinate with network and system teams to resolve configuration and performance issues. · Maintain documentation including HLDs, LLDs, and monitoring standards. · Ensure monitoring coverage for cloud and hybrid environments (e.G., AWS, Azure). · Maintain SLAs and assist with incident and problem management. · Strong documentation and communication skills. · Preferably immediate joiner.
