Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Technology Asset Manager to join our team at R3 Consultant. As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and we are looking for a candidate with 1 to 3 years of experience in IT asset management.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field1 to 3 years of experience in IT asset managementKnowledge of IT asset management tools and softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentCertifications such as Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) are a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and implement IT asset management policies and proceduresTrack and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposalConduct regular audits to ensure accurate inventory records and license complianceCoordinate with stakeholders to optimize IT asset utilization and reduce costsPerform asset tracking and analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost savingsManage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms for software licenses and hardware purchasesEnsure data security and compliance with software licensing agreementsProvide technical support and guidance to end-users on IT asset-related issuesStay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management
