Commercial Finance Analyst

You will work closely with the Global Production commercial team, client service community, technology, and operations teams to drive profitable growth through : 1) innovative financial proposals for new and existing clients, 2) financial management and governance, and 3) Use of data to drive strategies.JOB OVERVIEW:We are seeking a proactive and self-starting Commercial Finance Analyst with a strong background in commercial modelling to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting to RFPs/RFIs, involved commercial strategies and providing expert financial insights through complex data analysis to support our offerings. This role demands a detailed understanding of cost structures and exceptional communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :- Conduct detailed financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision-making processes. - Prepare and analyse RFPs and RFIs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company objectives and standards. - Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial and operational data for analysis. - Utilize advanced Excel functions, including formulas, Power Pivot, and Power Query to manipulate and analyse large datasets. - Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. - Perform ETL processes to clean, transform and load data from various sources into accessible and useful formats for in-depth analysis. - Identify trends, risks and opportunities in financial data and provide strategic recommendations to leadership. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems.CRITICAL SKILLS:- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field. - Proven experience in a commercial finance analyst role or similar. - Demonstrable experience with RFP and RFI processes. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, Power Pivot, and Power Query. - Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting. - Solid understanding of ETL processes, including data extraction, cleaning, transformation and loading techniques. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop meaningful insights. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Familiarity with financial modelling and forecasting techniques.OTHER CRITERIA- Culturally sensitive with strong emotional intelligence - Self-starter with a history of organization & prioritization abilities - Comfortable working in a fluid, dynamic environment - Open to receiving constructive feedback and implementing related learnings - Ability to travel, if needed - Ability to occasionally expand “normal working hours” to engage with globally located stakeholders and meet deadlines
