Central Data Office – Data Architect Role Summary Our client’s Central Data Office (CDO) aims to build enterprise data sets and treat data as a strategic asset to maximize business value. The Data Architect will collaborate with data architects, SMEs, engineers, and developers to design and govern enterprise-level data architectures, ensuring alignment with corporate data principles and standards. This position reports to the Data Architect Manager. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain conceptual and logical data models aligned with enterprise data strategy. Partner with data governance teams to develop and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, and catalogs . Define and implement data management strategies , including master/reference data frameworks. Ensure data solutions meet requirements for security, access, and classification . Consult on projects to ensure compliance with enterprise data architecture principles . Collaborate with business and IT teams to support data needs and improve business processes. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to data professionals and project teams. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field . 3+ years in data design/architecture with strong understanding of data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical). Hands-on experience with SQL Server , E/R Studio , data profiling , and data quality analysis . Knowledge of data governance and MDM (Master Data Management) concepts. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; experience working in agile teams . Self-starter, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience with MDM tools (Precisely Enter Works) and data catalog tools (Collibra). Knowledge of data warehouse, data lake, and data hub architectures. Familiarity with XML, JSON, Python , and API integration concepts . Understanding of TOGAF and DAMA DMBo K v2 frameworks. Exposure to SAP / HANA and related data extraction tools.
