Highlight the main responsibilitieso Follow-up & Report on new patent publications from third partieso Monthly report on new patent publications, ranked by Product Lines / technicalfields, relevance, etc...o Follow-up of the R&D new projects (Planning Prior art searches)o IP landscaping to identify technological/IP trendo Build regular IP landscape report on selected topic, in relation with R&D/R&Ineeds, help understanding competitors R&D strategyo Searching patent database to detect technological trends, whitespace and region ofmonopoleo Prior art searcheso Realising prior art searches e. g. for patent clearances, patentability studies, patentmappings in cooperation with R&Do Training people (Project team members, ) to search tools and methodso Optimizing search toolso Developing tools to retrieve previous searcheso Developping an advanced knowledge of competitors patents within PG perimetero Prior Art database (if any)o Management of a customised database containing all the patents related to the BGor PG or R&I activities,o Developing tools to permit an easy retrieval of patents according to certain criteria;o Monitoring with technical experts the indexation of patents in the database andputting some additional information for each of them;o Managing access to the database (restricted access to added information, i.e. nonpublic); Applying the Environment Safety and Security procedures and good practices; know for theiractivities and the activities of subcontractors the potential risks and their consequences. Beattentive and responsive to them and manage the associated action plans.
