Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and construction management, with the ability to oversee projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent technical skills, project management capabilities, and a commitment to ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

  • Manage and coordinate construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop project schedules and oversee construction activities using tools such as Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize GIS and ArcGIS for mapping and analyzing project sites.
  • Prepare construction estimates and assist in the drafting of project proposals.
  • Apply knowledge of hydraulic systems, wastewater treatment, and water treatment processes in project design.
  • Employ technical writing skills to create detailed reports, documentation, and schematics for projects.
  • Utilize software such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, Mathcad, HEC, SWMM for design and analysis tasks.
  • Engage in land surveying activities as needed to support project development.

Experience
Candidates should possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with experience in construction management or engineering roles. Familiarity with the following skills is preferred:

  • Project scheduling techniques
  • Construction estimating methodologies
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles
  • Experience with mechanical engineering concepts related to construction projects
  • Understanding of pipeline systems and construction inspection processes
