  • Manage Shift Operations:
  • Lead and supervise all production activities during the assigned shift.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of the plant with minimal downtime.
  • Production Monitoring & Control:
  • Monitor key process parameters and take corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure adherence to daily production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Team Supervision:
  • Manage shift workforce including operators, technicians, and support staff.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination among the team members.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Work closely with the process engineering team to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
  • Safety, Health & Environment (HSE):
  • Strictly enforce all safety protocols and plant operating procedures.
  • Conduct safety toolbox talks and participate in safety audits and incident investigations.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Maintain all shift-related logs, reports, and documentation as per ISO/GMP standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Emergency Handling:
  • Act as the first responder for any process deviations, equipment failures, or emergencies.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for quick resolution.
  • Coordination with Other Departments:
  • Liaise with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Handover shift to the next shift incharge with proper briefing and documentation.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Monitor raw materials and consumables required for production.
  • Ensure timely requisition and usage control to minimize losses.
  • Training and Development:
  • Guide and train operators for skill improvement and compliance with SOPs.
