To drive this current phase of business growth, we are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to oversee all financial and commercial aspects of the company that includes financial planning, accounting, billing, revenue recognition, financial reporting, audits, payroll and compliance. You will oversee and enhance the company’s finance systems. The person will need to be a reliable professional with knowledge and experience of all financial and business principles. You will be a strategic thinker, effective implementer and impactful leader who can advise and execute on the most profitable decisions. The person will need to retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act proactively to prevent problems.
The key areas of responsibility will include :
Building Function & Developing Strategy:  Play a critical role in improving finance processes and implementing the financial business strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives, profitability targets, and market dynamics. As a member of the senior leadership team, the person will be an advisor the Managing Director and the leadership team, evaluating and assisting them with financial plans and unit economics modelling
Account Receivables : Manage account receivables processes for verifying, recording, billing, collections and tracking balances due from customers. Own the order to cash process and lead month end closing activities including analysis of ageing, variance, credit and other key metrices
Account Payables : Manage the procure to pay process. Validate the need, identify the supplier, administer purchase order, reconcile and pay invoices. Establishes controls and approvals process to judiciously manage costs, quality and risks to delivery timelines
Finance Control & Accounting : Manage the accounts and ensure accurate financial records and reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Drive month end activities and analysis of financial statements to identify and explain any variances. Maintain internal controls for accurate and timely financial reports and audits. Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management
Financial Planning, Budgets & Forecasts : Manage the planning, financial modelling, budgeting and development of annual operating plan. Generate insights on operating expenses, capital spends, ROI, revenue growth, operational efficiency and profitability. Conducts detailed cost analysis to support pricing strategies, cost control, and profitability improvement. Develops metrices to monitor the performance and health of the business
Payroll & Expenses : Manage the payroll for multi country operations for employees in Bahrain, India and Egypt. Work with payroll providers in each country to ensure accurate and on time payroll processing. Manage expense policy, claims and payments
Managing the Finance Team :   Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and ensure the team meets its goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department
Continuous Improvement & Risk Assessment: Ensure continuous improvement for productivity improvement, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Have a continuous risk assessment approach for timely management of risk factors including financial, compliance, operational and data security risks
Automation & Innovation: Identify and implement innovative solutions and technologies to automate processes, improve speed, enhance quality and save cost
Education:
·      Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
·      Masters degree such as CA/ CPA/ CFA or MBA in Finance is desired
Experience:
·      15 - 20 years’ experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
·      Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support.
·      proven track record in managing international financial aspects. Experience of Middle East, Europe and Asia will be an advantage
Skills:
·      Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
·      Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
·      Excellent leadership and team management skills.
·      Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and leaders
·      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
·      Effective communication and presentation skills.
·      Strong organizational and time management skills.
·      High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The role will report to the Managing Director and will be based in Gurgaon, India. The role can require occasional travel to other office locations internationally.
