Assistant Vice President, Sourcing Operations

Genpact is looking to fill the role of Sourcing Operations, a leadership role responsible for the strategic planning and execution of sourcing, procurement helpdesk and requisition management operations for a key client ensuring all Genpact Delivery center meet customers and organization needs. This position provides leadership and management to Genpact staff aligned to the client's sourcing operations and actively contributes to overall operational targets as well as daily business decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer management, people management, quality management, workplace planning, mentoring, development, and training.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with client’s stakeholders, Country Head of Procurement and Senior Sourcing Manager to develop and execute sourcing strategy and operational plansMeet the Savings targets as per the regional plans, and ensure no contracts / SOW’s are expired before the expiry datesAll key metrics such Cost to serve, Quality and Operational efficiency targets achievedLead regional operations to achieve/exceed P&LDeliver Genpact’s digitalization strategy through leveraging the latest disruptive technologies such as Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI) as well as blockchain to enhance operational delivery and customer experienceLead and initiate discussions with global process owners at client and highlight key focus areas and bring in traction to support operations, improvement initiatives and ensure implementationImplement appropriate mechanisms to identify, understand and call out performance gaps and/or performance breakthroughs in operations. Develop and implement improvement plans to close performance gapsBe an escalation point for resolving customer & internal issues. Handle escalations confidently, identify key risks, and agree/implement mitigation plans to ensure repeat complaints are eliminatedMaintain & grow excellent customer relations – focus on improving NPS. Take personal ownership for actions plans that may arise from time to time for the country/regionsWork with the client to understand key requirements and translates them into delivery plans capable of being executed effectively by Genpact to agreed timescalesWork with client’s retained organization to assist with communication of key process changes to drive program adoption within client teamsResponsible for monitoring process of savings targets, timely deliveries, agreed sourcing projectsProactively engage internal Genpact team to increase knowledge & expertise being delivered to the client on sourcing, procurement & AP processes

Qualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications

Bachelors/master's degree in Procurement, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related subject from a reputed UniversitySubject matter expert in sourcing and procurement – the ability to coach & mentor team membersOutstanding negotiation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsDemonstrate a working knowledge of the lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvementCommercially savvy seeks to provide win-win solutions for the Client and GenpactMeasurable experience in leading and growing profitable satisfied accounts and/or meaningful business management experienceAbility to lead a team of 40+ people and be able to assimilate & encourage cultural diversityProven listening and customer service skillsInfluencing skills, creative thinking/innovative mindsetEffective mentoring and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively lead group and interpersonal conflict situations

Preferred Qualifications/ SkillsMBA / Professional certification in Procurement is desirableKnowledge of Coupa, Oracle Fusion is an advantage
