Overview:
Risk Analyst role involves the person to design and develop cutting-edge data-driven solutions by performing Risk analysis and translating business and functional requirements into business performance. This role will require critical thinking and analytical skills to support delivery on strategic initiatives and analytics projects. This will include working directly with the CRO and Business teams on critical tasks including data gathering, data analysis, KPI identification and Risk report design, segmentation, portfolio analysis. UAT/UVT of the data pipeline to establish the accuracy and usability of the data marts. Overall responsible to define and process key risk information required by management, and to prepare credit risk reports needed by Credit Risk Management to analyses and assess risk
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and perform credit risk reporting, including credit risk standard reporting, customized reports, Loan Loss Provision related calculations, other analytics.
Ensure data integrity & management in support of the Data team for credit risk analytics and reports.
Conduct recurrent and ad-hoc portfolio quality analysis and risk segmentations, early detection of risk concentrations for optimal measures to be taken in each category.
Work in close cooperation with other units within Risk Management, IT, Operations, Products, in order to monitor and ensure relevant, efficient and accurate processing of credit risk related analytics.
Ensure Data Quality compliance, by performing reconciliations across systems, instruct data corrections and follow up on resolution.
Consult with partners to develop metrics and reporting solutions that measure key inputs, outputs, and productivity.
Other accountabilities, specific tasks delegated as justified by business/Analytics needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational qualification – Bachelors / Master in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) from any reputed institute
At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in BFSI / FMCG / ecommerce / fintech.
Demonstrated analytical skills to work through complex problems, manipulate and analyse large data sets, and produce actionable business insights.
Must have coding knowledge in SAS and SQL.
Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data using Python, PySpark, R, PostgreSQL with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy,
Working experience in AWS environment for data access and analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
A drive to learn and master new technologies, techniques, and digital banking.
