Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to create engaging, informative, and educational content for children aged 4 to 10. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting stories, comprehension questions, games, quizzes, and activities across subjects such as English, Math, Science, and Coding. You will also be responsible for reviewing content, conducting research into the latest trends in ed-tech, managing multimedia assets, and supporting tech-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, age-appropriate content for children aged 4 to 10, including:
  • Educational stories, comprehension questions, and exercises in subjects such as English, Math, Science, and Coding.
  • Engaging games, quizzes, puzzles, and other interactive learning materials.
  • Tailor content to suit varying learning styles and ensure content is both fun and educational.
  • Content Review: Review and provide feedback on content from third-party partners and other writers, ensuring it aligns with educational standards, brand voice, and target age group.
  • Research: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and innovations in the ed-tech space. Research new methods, technologies, and approaches to enhance the learning experience for young children.
  • Asset Management: Manage educational assets such as images, graphics, and multimedia materials to ensure they complement the content and are suitable for the age group.
  • Tech Support: Assist with tech-related tasks, including troubleshooting educational platforms, tools, and content delivery systems to ensure smooth implementation and usage of digital resources.

Mandatory Skill Sets & Requirements:

  • Academic Background: A degree or certification in fields such as Human Development, Early Childhood Education, Counselling Psychology, or Management of Learning Difficulties.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in an international preschool/school setting, working directly with young children in an educational environment.
  • Proficiency in Multimedia & Technology: Strong understanding of multimedia tools, e-learning platforms, and technology used in educational content creation.
  • Creative and Analytical Skills: Ability to create engaging, educational content and adapt materials to various learning styles. Must be detail-oriented with a strong understanding of age-appropriate learning.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and educators.
