Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Devops Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes and Dev Ops. As the Staff DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead a team of Dev Ops engineers and play the role of Kubernetes administratorProvide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and suggest optimizations to improve application performance.Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to cloud computing, container orchestration.Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and ensure smooth integration of software applications.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.Ensure adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards, while effectively managing competing priorities.

Required QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Hands on experience in Dev Ops -Build and execution, Kubernetes administrationExperience in monitoring and observability tools like – Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog etc.Good knowledge in containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and orchestration.Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and DevOps principles.Experience with modern software development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing, and fostering a collaborative work environment.Good to have - Experience in Java programming, including core Java, multithreading, and object-oriented design principles, micro-services.
