Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience in PHP and Laravel framework to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with expertise in building scalable, secure, and efficient web applications using PHP and Laravel.

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and databases to support our web applications and ensure seamless functionality.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Backend Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Laravel framework.

- Implement business logic, data processing, and application workflows to meet project requirements.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

2. Database Management :

- Design and optimize database schemas, tables, and queries for performance and scalability.

- Implement database migrations, seeding, and versioning using Laravel migrations and seeders.

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security by implementing proper validation and sanitization techniques.

3. API Development and Integration:

- Develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications, third-party services, and external APIs.

- Integrate with external services, payment gateways, and APIs to enable additional functionality and features.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Laravel Passport or JWT for secure API access.

4. Performance Optimization:

- Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in backend code, database queries, and API responses.

- Implement caching mechanisms, query optimizations, and indexing strategies to improve application performance and responsiveness.

5. Security and Compliance:

- Implement security measures and best practices to protect against common web application vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.

- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards such as GDPR and PCI-DSS.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members to implement features and resolve issues.

- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and discuss technical and Skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 4 to 8 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on PHP and Laravel framework.

- Strong proficiency in PHP programming language and Laravel framework, with hands-on experience in building web applications.

- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including database design, optimization, and query tuning.

- Knowledge of RESTful API development, authentication, and integration using Laravel Passport or JWT.

- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js or React.js is a plus.

- Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
