Job Description

·       Creation of visually appealing, cost-effective designs with value additions for stationery especially notebooks as per client brief.

·       Running design projects, from conception to delivery. Develop layouts considering design elements, typography, vector-based concepts and printing margins.

·       Implement printing margins, bleed and safety zones for accurate printing results and developing the files for pre-press.

·       Collaborate and communicate across sales, operations, design and factory team for printing specifications and ensuring closure of projects within timelines.

·       Create detailed specifications instructions for production teams.

·       Develop prototypes and samples to test and refine designs before production.


Requirements

Ø  Diploma degree or equivalent in graphic design, printing and packaging.

Ø  Proven experience of 3-5 years working in the commercial printing and packaging industry with focus on print design, execution of value additions and pre press.

Ø  Strong knowledge of printing substrates, paper types and including printing technologies.

 

Ø  Strong understanding of all new techniques, value additions and their pre-press requirements as per industry standards. They should be updated with the latest printing and packaging trends and incorporate innovative techniques.

 

 

Ø  They should be proficient in latest Adobe suite, Corel Draw & MS Excel.




Requirements
B.Tech. in Mechanical/Production/electrical/Chemical engineering Strong analytical ability & flexibility to adapt to changing business needs Good communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with internal & external stakeholders Proficiency in MS Excel is a must; Exposure on SAP preferred Good understanding of supply chain processes / principles Exposure of Manufacturing for Exports and/or International Logistics preferred
