Data & AnalyticsJob Purpose:Sr. Business Analyst works with the Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and vendor partners to create and deliver technical and functional specifications for underlying business requirements.The Sr. Business Analyst also ensures that the solutions provided for underlying business requirements are aligned to high-level business and Data & Analytics outcomes. The role holder also co-ordinates and ensures complete understanding of business requirements and other hand-offs with business/Analytics team.Roles & Responsibilities:Identify and scope business requirements and priorities through rigorous information gathering and analysis as well as clarification of the solutions, initiatives and programmes to enable effective delivery. This also involves the development of a compelling and defensible business case and the articulation of the potential impact of the solution to the businessSpecify and create data structures, including the setting of various parameters that can be modified to suit different structured and unstructured data requirements, the design of data flow, as well as the development of mechanisms for maintenance, storage and retrieval of data based on the business requirementsEnsure timely and accurate delivery of all reporting and MIS requirementsDevelop and implement guidelines, processes and norms across the Bank for the handling of data at various stages in its lifecycle as well as the provision of advice on proper data handling and resolution of data breaches in a range of complex, ambiguous or multi-faceted contextsDevelop a robust and coherent data strategy and support architectures, policies, practices and procedures that enable the organisation to manage and utilise data in an effective mannerImplement contemporary techniques, dynamic visual displays with illustrative and interactive graphics to present patterns, trends, analytical insights from data or new concepts in a strategic manner for the intended audienceMonitor and integrate emerging technology trends and developments, structured data gathering for the identification of new and emerging technological products, services and techniquesDesign and refine solution blueprints to guide the development of Analytics solutions to meet current and future business needsManage stakeholder expectations and needs by aligning those with requirements and objectives of the organization. This involves planning of actions to effectively communicate with, negotiate with and influence stakeholdersDevelop a test strategy and systematic test procedures to verify and ensure that solutions meet the design specifications as well as the performance, load and volume levels set out.Maintain data integrityDisplays the ability to approach existing situations and problems in a new manner and creates innovative solutionsHas a continuous improvement mindset with a focus to better and improve things as well as ensure sustenanceWorks to achieve goals and shows a strong drive to follow through and complete what was startedKey Success Metrics:Analytical toolsBusiness cases and data analysedEducation Qualification:Graduation: Bachelor of Science ( / Bachelor of Technology ( / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)Post-Graduation: Master of Science ( /Master of Technology ( / Master of Computer Applications (MCA)Experience Range:
