Title: Nanny (Infant Care Specialist) for 6-Month-Old Daughter

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly skilled nanny specializing in infant care to provide dedicated care for our 6-month-old daughter.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infant development, excellent caregiving skills, and the ability to create an nurturing and safe environment that supports the baby's growth and well-being. This role is critical in ensuring our daughter receives the highest standard of care during her formative months.
Responsibilities: Infant Care and Development: - Daily Care Routines: Manage all aspects of the baby’s daily care, including feeding (bottleandsolids as appropriate), diaper changes, bathing, dressing, and ensuring a consistent sleepschedule. - Developmental Support: Engage the baby in age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive and motor development.
This includes tummy time, sensory play, and introducing basic concepts through songs, reading, and gentle interaction. - Feeding and Nutrition: Prepare and administer bottles and meals according to the baby’s feeding schedule.
Ensure proper nutrition and hydration, adapting as the baby’s dietary needsevolve. - Sleep Management: Establish and maintain a healthy sleep routine, including naps andbedtime. Monitor sleep patterns and adjust as needed to ensure the baby is well-rested.
Health and Safety: - Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the baby’s living areas, including sterilizing bottles, toys, and other equipment.
Ensure the baby’s clothing and beddingare clean and comfortable. - Health Monitoring: Observe and monitor the baby’s health, recognizing any signs of illnessor discomfort.
Administer any necessary medications as directed by parents or healthcare providers. - First Aid and Choking Prevention: Be knowledgeable in infant first aid, including howtorespond in case of a choking emergency.
Ability to administer immediate care if chokingoccursis essential. Emotional and Social Development: - Bonding and Emotional Support: Provide a warm and loving environment that fosters astrongemotional bond.
Comfort the baby when upset and ensure she feels secure and loved. - Social Interaction: Encourage social development through interaction, both with family members and during supervised playdates with other children, if applicable. Parental Collaboration: - Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with the parents regardingthebaby’s daily activities, health, and development. Provide regular updates and address any concerns promptly.
- Advising on Development: Offer insights and advice on the baby’s developmental milestones, providing support and guidance on any challenges that may arise. Specialized Tasks: - Routine Adaptation: Adapt routines and care practices as the baby grows and her needschange, ensuring continuity and consistency in care. -

Qualifications: Educational and Professional Background:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in infant care, with a strong track record of workingwith babies of a similar age. - Specialized Training: Formal training in early childhood development, infant care, or a relatedfield is highly desirable. - Certifications: Current certification in infant CPR, first aid, and choking prevention is required.
