Job Description :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with 3-12 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

- As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

- You will leverage your expertise in data engineering and cloud technologies to develop scalable and efficient data pipelines.

Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using cloud-based technologies such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue, and Databricks.

- Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data lake or data warehouse.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their requirements and provide them with clean, reliable, and well-organized datasets.

- Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.

- Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues in a timely manner, working closely with cross-functional teams.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing, and evaluate their potential impact on our data infrastructure.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-12 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining data pipelines.

- Proficiency in cloud technologies such as AWS Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue, and Databricks.

- Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and PySpark.

- Advanced programming skills in Python.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
