Mooring Engineer

Job Title: Mooring Engineer (12 month Residential Contract)

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Hull Buoy and Mooring Manager, oversee engineering activities related to mooring systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and schedules. Coordinate with contractors and FEED (Front End Engineering Design) teams to resolve technical queries and interface matters efficiently. Ensure compliance with General Specifications and HSE requirements throughout the design process. Provide technical support during tendering processes and interface management with other project packages. Collaborate with specialists and Line Managers to manage contractual risks and ensure project objectives are met. Participate in technical reviews and contribute to the close-out of contracts, reporting progress and highlighting concerns to project management.

Qualifications:

Engineering degree or equivalent. Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 10 years focused on mooring engineering. Fluent in English; Portuguese proficiency is advantageous.

Duration: 12 months (renewable), residential in Luanda, Angola.
