Test Automation Specialist

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to verify the functionality, performance, and scalability of our software applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop test plans and test cases accordingly.- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable efficient testing and delivery of software updates.- Identify and prioritise test scenarios based on risk analysis and business impact.- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.- Mentor junior members of the QA team and provide technical guidance on testing best practices and automation techniques.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and test automationRequirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript.- Proficiency in test tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, PlayWright- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Circle CI, or GitLab CI.- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
