The Opportunity.Join Thakral One as a SAS Visual Analytics Developer in Singapore and help build high-impact dashboards and data visualizations using SAS Viya and SAS 9. You’ll work on custom maps, dynamic views, automation, and secure access for government and enterprise clients—turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.The Role.SAS Visual Analytics Development:- Building dashboards, reports, and explorations with advanced visualization capabilities- Custom GeoMaps: support for custom shapes, polygons, and multi-layer mapping- GeoMap network visualizations and time-path animations- Configuring parameterization, object interactions, and input-driven views- Scheduling and automating VA report generation- Optimizing VA report performance and data refresh intervals- Experience using Report Builder and embedding SAS stored processes or SAS Viya JobsData Preparation & Programming:- Data manipulation using SAS Studio, Base SAS, SQL- Familiarity with SAS Macros, SAS Viya programming, SAS 9 programming- Good working knowledge of Python for integration or preprocessing (basic to intermediate)- Experience in data modeling, cleansing, and preparing datasets to support dashboard viewsSecurity & Access Management:- Implementing Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) and Row-Level Security (RLS) for reports and dashboardsThe Expertise.Education & Certifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field- SAS Certification(s) in BI/Visual Analytics or Advanced Programming is a plusExperience & Background:- At least 5 years to 8 of hands-on experience as a SAS Developer or SAS Visual Analytics Consultant- Proven project experience developing dashboards using SAS Visual Analytics (not just support roles)- Strong track record of working with SAS Viya 3.5, SAS 9.x, and SAS Enterprise GuideBonus / Preferred Experience:SAS Visual Investigator (VI):- Embedding VA reports into Visual Investigator- Passing dynamic parameters from VI to VA- Working with Map Objects, Custom Controls, and Views in VI- Developing or modifying Custom Controls for VI applicationsAdditional Qualities We’re Looking For:- Prior experience working on Singapore government projects or high-compliance sectors- Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders- Team-oriented, detail-driven, and proactive in problem solving- Strong sense of ownership and accountability in deliveryAbout us.Thakral One is a consulting and technology services company headquartered in Singapore, with a pan-Asian presence.
