Job Overview:

As a DevOps Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps practices for our clients. You will be responsible for architecting scalable and reliable infrastructure, streamlining development pipelines, and driving automation to enhance efficiency and reliability across our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, infrastructure design, and cloud technologies, along with proven experience in leading DevOps initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions to support our applications and services. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.- Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and automation practices. Lead the adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization.- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure the stability and performance of delivery pipelines.- Champion the use of infrastructure as code principles to manage and provision infrastructure resources programmatically. Implement tools and frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to codify infrastructure.- Architect and manage cloud environments on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance.- Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of containerized applications.- Implement security best practices and compliance standards within the DevOps pipeline. Work closely with security teams to integrate security controls into the development and deployment processes.- Lead cross-functional teams in the adoption of DevOps practices and principles. Mentor and coach engineers on DevOps methodologies, tools, and processes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.- 12+ years of experience in software development, systems administration, or DevOps engineering roles.- Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions.- Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.- Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred) and associated services.- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.- In-depth understanding of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).- Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles in cloud environments.- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in relevant technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified DevOps Engineer.- Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.- Knowledge of agile methodologies and agile development practices.
