SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION:

Lead all engineering activities within project team and drive actions to release System / Sub system / Products according to customer requirements within timeline.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning the Product Engineering (PE) resources and estimate Budget. Leading all engineering activities within the project and execute technical work packages. Drive actions to release System / Sub system / Products according to customer requirements within timeline Responsible for all PE deliverables in the project and Fulfilment of all project requirements (Technical, Quality, Safety and Legal) within timeline. Facilitate requirements / test case documentation and architecture documentation. Set priorities for technical development based on a strategic assessment of risks. Track Product Engineering time plan and Ensures all Engineering releases on time. Technical Interface to customer & Represent PE as a single point of contact in Project Team. Represent ADAS team in a cross functional team which involves vehicle application team, domain teams, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, service, etc. Work closely with all stakeholders and engineering leaders to define and maintain ADAS development roadmap. Establish team awareness on project activities and affected mechanical and SW deliverables. Lead conversations through the complete lifecycle of product with in-house development team and third-party supplier. Define and communicate dependencies between hardware, software and suppliers with a focus on minimizing these dependencies. Identify cross functional team’s dependencies and handshake points and resolve issues if any. Ensure Process adherence. Achieve Product target cost and contribute to Design to Cost (DtC)


EXPERIENCE:

10 -15 yrs of total experience in Product Engineering in Automotive field with minimum 5+ years of experience in ADAS projects as a Project Manager.

PROFILE:

BE/Masters in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical, Electronics/Communications, Mechatronics) Experience in Telematics, ADAS Product design, Validation and Certification Good knowledge about vehicles, sub systems & operating environment. Knowledge on Embedded software systems. Knowledge on Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), FUSA, Cyber Security. Project Management Experience (PMP certification preferred). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English
