About the Job

The Group Chief Human Resources Officer (GCHRO) will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the HR strategy to support the company’s ambitious growth plans. This senior leadership role requires a seasoned professional who can lead the HR function through transformative growth, fostering a high-performance culture and aligning HR initiatives with the strategic business objectives.


Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

- Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan. Collaborate with promoters and division heads to drive organizational growth.

- Performance Culture: Drive performance and accountability culture within the company. Implement performance management systems and ensure goal alignment across all levels.

- Talent Development: Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies. Implement robust succession planning and leadership development programs.

- Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.

- Organizational Development: Lead organizational development initiatives to support business growth and transformation.

- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with diverse senior stakeholders, including promoters and business heads. Facilitate effective communication and decision-making.

- Change Management: Lead change management efforts to support the company’s growth and transformation objectives.

- Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and HR policies.


Mandatory Selection Criteria

- Experience: Minimum of 22 years in HR, with at least 5 years as HR head in a promoter-driven company. Recent experience in a company with a turnover of INR 4000-8000 crore.

- Industry: Can be Manufacturing, Infrastructure, or Services but NOT from Real estate.

- Growth Journey: Proven track record of leading HR during significant growth phases (2X+ growth).

- Performance Culture: Demonstrated experience in driving a performance and accountability culture.

- Education: Fulltime MBA in HR from a reputable institute (not necessarily premium).

- Stability: Stable career history with an average tenure of at least 4 years per company.

- Skills: Strong in performance management systems (PMS), organizational development (OD), talent development, and compensation & benefits (C&B).

- Soft Skills: Mature, with high social intelligence, persuasive communication skills, and the ability to manage diverse senior stakeholders.

- Job Location: Mumbai

- Experience: Candidates between 22 to 31 years of PQE.
