Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central, focusing on Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Taxation, Consolidation).
  • Conduct workshops, gather business requirements, and prepare detailed documentation (FRD, FDD, BRD, Gap-Fit Analysis, Solution Documents).
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with technical/development teams.
  • Configure, test, and deploy financial modules and related integrations.
  • Ensure proper data migration and reconciliation of financial balances from legacy systems.
  • Provide leadership to the functional team guide, review, and mentor consultants and trainees.
  • Deliver user training, UAT support, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Act as the client-facing lead for Finance workstream – ensuring smooth communication and stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrations with third-party systems.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, and audit requirements in Finance processes.
  • Support pre-sales efforts, including client demos, solutioning inputs, and proposal support when required.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong domain background in Finance & Accounts (Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance preferred).
  • Minimum 2–3 full-cycle end-to-end implementations in D365 BC / NAV.
  • Hands-on experience in Finance configuration, process mapping, and solution design.
  • Good exposure to Trade & Logistics modules is an added advantage.
  • Excellent documentation and client-facing skills.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior consultants.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (preferred/mandatory).
