Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 1 year of experience and a strong foundation in Python, SQL, MongoDB, and Django. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing our database systems to ensure seamless integration with our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using SQL and MongoDB.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Collaborate with software developers to integrate database systems with Python and Django applications.
  • Monitor database performance, implement improvements, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all database systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Assist in the creation of technical documentation and training materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in database development.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Experience with MongoDB and working knowledge of its features and limitations.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Familiarity with Django framework and its database integration.
  • Understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Full Stack experience is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with other databases and ORM frameworks.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
