Position Summary Manages all daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations (bank/vendor). Ensures timely and accurate tax compliance across GST, TDS, and Advance Tax, keeping current with Indian tax law changes. Supports financial closing, MIS reporting, receivables/payables monitoring, and coordinates essential annual filings with external auditors. Core Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations. • Handle GST compliance – monthly/quarterly/annual GST filings, reconciliation, and resolving queries. • Ensure timely TDS calculations & return filings. • Timely Advance Tax working & payment. • Conduct bank & vendor reconciliations. • Support and coordinate with auditors & CS for annual filings. • Assist in MIS reporting. • Stay updated with amendments in Indian taxation laws and implement necessary changes. • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables and payables. • Assist in the financials closing processes. • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed. Education Requirements • Inter CA / Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, or related field. Technical Skills and Experience Software Proficiency: • Zoho Books • MS Office Experience • 2-3 years of experience in Indian accounting roles will be preferred. • Experience in QuickBooks would be considered as add-ons. Psychosocial Skills /Human Skills/Behavioural Skills • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept to conclusion. • Technical understanding of clean energy business processes • Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders. • Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. • Excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
