Areas of Responsibility Job DescriptionInventory Management• Plan & ensures stock availability across plants for raw materials .• Coordinate with domestic vendors, & transporters for scheduling and tracking material deliveries.• Executes STOs across plants for maintaining stock coverages.• Tracks and controls damage of material & any other unplanned costs across supply chain.• Control material accounting, and FIFO. Procurement• Manages, identifies, evaluates, and selects suppliers based on quality, reliability, & cost-effectiveness.• Negotiates contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, and mutually beneficial agreements.• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand their day-to-day procurement requirements and pain points, if any for effective resolution.• Explores a low-cost sourcing supplier.• Proactively scans and evaluates new vendors and supply option models available in the market, with an aim to achieve cost reductions.• Develops reports/MIS involving cost reduction, alternate sourcing & landed cost of goods. OSP Operations Management• Controls & monitors supply chain operations at external OSP plants.• Maintains stock availability at OSP site.• Periodically travels to OSP site for audit & supervision.Qualifications & Experience:1. B.E/B.Tech (post-graduate qualifications in supply chain/operations, will be an added advantage.)2. Experience: 7-10 years of experience across manufacturing industries at the Plant level.3. SAP or any other ERP knowledge is a must.Skills:1. Excellent verbal and written communication2. Organizational and logistics skills3. Strong attention to detail4. Problem-solving5. Team oriented6.
