Finance Controller Role Company Description: NAYAN is a visual intelligence platform built on Computer Vision and Machine Learning, focused on edge based analytics and hybrid cloud computing. Our product offerings span across B2 B, B2 G, and B2 C domains, providing actionable insights for better decision-making. Clients use NAYAN's dashcams and products for road safety, public space monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, smart cities, traffic violations, and fleet operation quality assurance. End-users can leverage our app to search for any event, anywhere. About the Role: Nayan is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Controller to manage our day-to-day financial operations and help drive cost efficiency across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who combines operational rigor with data-driven thinking, and is excited to work closely with leadership to guide smart financial decisions. Responsibilities: Monitor and control company-wide expenses, including travel, tools, and operations Provide data-driven insights to guide cost optimization and budget allocation Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and spend reports Track cash flow, working capital, and fund usage for financial health Analyze financial reports to surface cost-saving opportunities Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and tax regulations; assist with filings and audits Work with internal teams to enforce financial discipline and approval processes Support financial planning and investment decisions aligned with business goals Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and consultants Contribute to financial models and data prep for fundraising or investor updates Continuously suggest process improvements and automation in financial operations Requirements: 2–4 years of experience in finance, FP& A, accounting, or cost control Strong working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Good grasp of compliance areas such as GST, TDS, and corporate taxation Experience in financial analysis, planning, and identifying cost optimization areas Hands-on experience with cash flow tracking and fund management Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and finance tools like Zoho Books or Quick Books Comfortable working in dynamic environments with high ownership Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Exposure to fundraising, audits, or investor reporting is a plus Experience in tech or start up environments is preferred What You’ll Get: Opportunity to work at the intersection of tech and innovation Autonomy, ownership, and the chance to scale a brand from the ground up A fast-paced, collaborative team culture with real impact on growth Location – Delhi Position Starting – Immediately
