Description :The opportunity: Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC) is a research and development facility with around 500 R&D engineers, specialists, and experts, who focus on creating and sustaining digital solutions, new products and technology. This includes product integration, testing, cybersecurity, and certification. The India Development Centre is situated in Chennai and Bangalore. We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our team of R&D Engineers. A person interested in the field of power electronic converters and contribute towards global R&D projects. How you’ll make an impact: You will bring broad knowledge in the field of control design, power electronics as an experienced control engineer for power electronics. You will be contributing to the development of control/Protection software on the MACH control platform and MATLAB Simulink. You will be responsible for documentation of control software like concept documents, test reports and other supporting documents part of development. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your background: Required master’s degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis on Power Electronics and control system. Industry experience with power converters, control systems designs and real time control software, also control software designs experience in MACH control platform, MATLAB/ Simulink or other control platforms. Proficiency in the use of simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD would be an advantage. Experience working in an Agile development team and Python programming would be an advantage. Team spirit with the capacity to work independently, complemented by quick intellect and well-developed analytical skills, you like to work in multicultural/international environment. Eagerness for learning and innovation, the readiness of mind for the use of various new tools for developments tasks but also for collaborating with the team efficiently.
