SAP APO/IBP Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP APO modules, including:
  • DP (Demand Planning)
  • SNP (Supply Network Planning)
  • PP/DS (Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling)
  • GATP (Global Available to Promise)
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing APO solutions.
  • Collaborate with SAP ECC and other integrated systems to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Optimize APO processes to enhance planning accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Technical Configuration: Configure SAP IBP/APO modules to align with business needs.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and performance of configured solutions.
  • User Training and Support: Provide technical training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the system.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the solution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP APO modules.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes.
  • Experience in integrating APO with SAP ECC (e.g., CIF interface).
