Summary:  Join our Canada-based maritime tech startup as an AI Engineer With operations based in India, we’re on a mission to revolutionize the maritime industry through pioneering technology. We’re looking for an AI Engineer with significant AI experience (2+ years) and a total of 4+ years in software engineering to help build intelligent, impactful solutions that will shape the future of maritime operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Development and Implementation:  Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to improve the intelligence and efficiency of our products.
  • End-to-End Integration:  Integrate AI solutions seamlessly into the existing tech stack and enhance product capabilities.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving:  Partner with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to brainstorm, develop, and refine solutions that align with our mission.
  • Performance Optimization:  Optimize models and algorithms for maximum efficiency and scalability.
  • Research and Innovation:  Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply relevant techniques to drive innovation in our products.


Requirements:

  • Experience:  2+ years of proven experience in AI/ML development and a total of 4+ years in software engineering.
  • Technical Proficiency:  Expertise with Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Full Stack Knowledge:  Familiarity with full stack technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and Vercel AI SDK.
  • AI Concepts:  Solid understanding of AI/ML models, including LLM models and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
  • Data Handling:  Strong background in data processing, model training, and API development.
  • Problem-Solving:  Ability to identify challenges, think critically, and develop AI-based solutions.
