Role: Program Officer (Education), Kolkata Experience: 5+ YearsSalary: Up to 12 LPA Key Responsibilities: 1. Curriculum Design and Development Develop teaching-learning materials and practices based on field realities and the principle of integrating local community practices (e.g., weaving, agriculture, traditional crafts) into the mainstream curriculum. Conduct independent observations of classrooms and trainings to ensure the effective implementation of program content. 2. Data Analytics & Impact Measurement Collect, analyze, and interpret program data to accurately measure learning outcomes and identify gaps in implementation. Generate comprehensive reports for both internal learning and external communication purposes (e.g., donor reporting). 3. Training & Capacity Building Assist in the planning and delivery of teacher training sessions focused on pedagogy, classroom management, and effective assessment strategies. Facilitate peer learning forums and reflective practice workshops for educators. Education and Experience: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of teaching experience is required, preferably in alternative or innovative pedagogy environments. Requisite Skills: Experience in curriculum design, teacher training, or educational program management is a plus. Strong understanding of progressive teaching-learning methods and experiential learning principles. Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills . Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage and interpret data for decision-making. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
