The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in solving problems independently, communicates effectively, and delivers reliable data solutions.As a GCP Data Engineer, your responsibilities include:- Technical Requirements Gathering and Development of Functional Specifications.- Analysis on Various Development Alternatives for Applications, Information Systems, and Modules.- Code Development in the Area of Data Management – Cloud, Data Integration, Analytics & Reporting.- Supporting Junior Developers and providing Team Leadership/Mentorship.- Supporting the Presales Team – Technical Whitepapers, Solutions Review.- Working with Agile multicultural teams in Asia, the EU, Canada, and the USA.Profile RequirementsFor this position of GCP Data Engineer, we are looking for someone with:- (Required) Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in GCP, especially Big Query and Data Proc.- (Required) Proficient in SQL, Python, and Py Spark.- (Optional) Experience with SSRS is a plus.- (Required) Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams.- (Required) Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.- (Required) Experience in full-lifecycle data engineering projects on GCP.
