JOB DESCRIPTION


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jewellery CAD Designer with 5-6 years of experience of Gems and Jewellery industry to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for jewellery design, and proficiency in CAD softwares such as MATRIX9/GOLD, RHINOCEROS, Z-BRUSH to create intricate and precise jewellery models.



Key Responsibilities

  • You are proficient in curve flow making, Cuban chain making, micro prong settings, various types of locking/joining, different diamond settings, including magic and illusion settings, prong head editing and creation.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of sieve sizes and various diamond sizes for use in jewelry and of wide range of diamond shapes.
  • You assist in designing and illustrating a high volume of new jewelry concepts and innovative design solutions
  • You can handle complex 3D CAD models of jewelry designs based on conceptual sketches, design briefs, and technical specifications.
  • You collaborate with production team including ( kaarigars, CAM, and manufacturers) to ensure designs meet quality standards and production requirements.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and deadlines.



Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Jewellery Design, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advance level experience in jewellery CAD design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix9/gold, ZBrush.
  • Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Ability to translate conceptual designs into precise 3D models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently under deadlines.
