In this role, you will focus on developing and designing user-centric software solutions that align with business needs. Daily tasks include front-end development, user experience design, visual design implementation, and collaboration with a cross-functional team. You will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces while contributing to the software development lifecycle.UX Software Engineer: Front-End UX & Design System (India)Location:India •Experience:3–5 years •Type:Full-timeWe’re looking for aUX-focused Front-End Engineerto own the coherence of ourNext.js SaaS platform— from information architecture and navigation to visual design tokens and component libraries. You’ll work across engineering to define scalable patterns and deliver production-grade UI built withReact, Next.js, and TypeScript . Expect fast build–measure–learn cycles in a lean environment with minimal PM overhead.What You’ll DoDefineinformation architectureand navigation structure; standardize layout, theming, typography, spacing, and responsive breakpoints.Build and maintainDesign System v1— design tokens, component library (20–40 core components), and usage documentation.Implement production-ready UI usingReact + Next.js + TypeScriptwith strong focus onaccessibility(ARIA, keyboard, contrast) andperformance .Createguardrailsthat ensure UI consistency and quality (Storybook, visual diffs, linting, accessibility/performance checks).Automate quality checks to maintain design and accessibility standards across multiple contributors.Validate UX decisions throughanalytics, usability testing, and fast iterationon real user feedback.Minimum Qualifications3–5 years building modern web SaaS products with clear UX ownership.Strong experience withReact, Next.js, and TypeScript .Proficient with modern CSS (Tailwind or equivalent).Skilled inFigmaand familiar withdesign system development(tokens, components, versioning, documentation).Solid grasp ofa11yandperformance best practices .Comfortable working inasync, fast-paced, lean startup environments .Experience integratingREST or GraphQL APIsand collaborating on contracts with backend teams.Bonus PointsFamiliarity withTanStack (Query/Router) ,Storybook ,Vite , and testing tools likeRTL / Playwright .Experience withaXe, Lighthouse, or Chromaticfor accessibility and visual regression testing.Buildingdata-dense enterprise UIs(tables, filters, inline editing).Basic understanding ofNode.js/PythonandCI/CD pipelines .
