Overview

Enterprise Data systems within Retail aims to make data a strategic asset for the firm by providing a platform that enables the structuring, management, integration, control, discovery, usage, and governance of our Data Assets. The role will focus on support on monitoring production pipelines/ETL and fixing any issues as well as work on ad hoc data requests.

Responsibilities

Production support where ETL process will be monitored and any issues with the process are resolved work on ad hoc support request about data request or issues with existing reports and processes

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

2-4 years of work experience post completion of bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related majors. Knowledge in fundamentals of T-SQL, Data Structures and OLAP star schema. Working knowledge with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Critical thinking: the ability to track down complex engineering issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches to solve problems. Analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business Good Communication skills and willing to learn new tools and technologies Overall technical understanding of big data, data warehousing, business intelligence, web and other multi-tiered, distributed applications/systems.  Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details This role will require to be on a production support Rota early in the morning. 3 days a week in office is required.

Preferred :

Knowledge on data analysis & visualization concepts and experience in using some visualization tools like Excel/Power BI or Python. Experience in the Commodity Trading, Capital Markets, Trade Surveillance, Compliance, FIX Gateway, Books & Record Systems or Market Data
